What we collect
Email address, magic-link sign-in records, chat messages, whether a photo was attached, monthly question counts, plan and crew membership, and a Stripe customer id if you pay. The waitlist stores an email. We do not ask for a specific employer's procedures, and we do not want card numbers — Stripe collects those.
Photos
A photo you upload is stored for your account so the chat can show it again. It may be sent to the model provider configured for the app. Do not upload a photo you are not allowed to share.
Phone app
The Hey Davina app on iPhone and Android opens heydavina.com. It may ask for the camera so you can attach a photo to a question, the microphone so you can speak a question, and permission to show notifications. You can say no. We do not sell that information. Notification delivery is not turned on until the owner connects that service.
Model providers
If an API key is set, your question and photo are sent to that provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) under their terms. If no key is set, practice mode answers on this server and does not call a provider.
Cookies
We set one httpOnly cookie to keep you signed in. The language toggle is stored in your browser.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it with the email sender, the payment processor, the host, and the model provider only as needed to run the service.
Retention
Chats stay until you delete them or you ask us to delete the account. Usage counts stay as billing records. You can email hello@heydavina.com to ask about deletion.
Children
Hey Davina is not directed to children under 13.
