The iPhone and Android apps open this same service at heydavina.com. These terms apply to the website and the apps.
Not an approval
Answers are general information. They are not a lift approval, a design, a permit, an inspection, or a substitute for local codes, manufacturer specifications, or a qualified person. You decide what happens on the job, and you can stop the work.
Accounts and plans
You sign in with email. The free plan includes 5 questions per UTC day and may show ad placeholders. Pro is $9.99 per month or $79 per year. Crew is $29 per month for up to 5 seats. Prices are the ones shown in the app when you subscribe.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. This build is wired for Stripe test mode only and refuses live secret keys. A real charge happens only after the owner connects a live account on purpose. You can cancel a paid plan in the billing portal when Stripe is connected. Access continues through the period you already paid, unless the law says otherwise.
Acceptable use
Do not use Davina to evade a safety rule, falsify a record, hide an incident, or defeat a guard or limit. Do not send secrets, passwords, or someone else's private information. Do not abuse the service or try to break it.
Your questions
We store your questions so you can see them later. If a model provider is configured, the text and any photo you attach are sent to that provider to generate the answer. Practice mode keeps the answer on this server.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that an answer is complete, current, or fit for your job. Construction work can kill people. If you are unsure, stop.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Davina Homes LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, injury, or property damage, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits. In that case they apply only as far as the law allows.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Hidalgo County, Texas are the venue, unless the law requires otherwise. A lawyer should confirm this before launch.
