What is the standard raised-floor height?
Davina does not have one. The height and the tile rating are on this project’s drawings.
Use this on a data hall that is still a construction site. Davina will not give you a floor height, a tile load, a cleanroom class, a particle count, or a pass number. Those are on this project’s drawings and in the manufacturer’s data.
OSHA 1926.501(a)(2) says the employer has to determine that the walking surface has the strength and integrity to hold people safely, and that employees work on it only when it does. Davina does not have a pedestal rating or a tile rating to hand you. If you cannot show the surface will hold the person and the cart, you do not load it.
OSHA 1926.501(b)(4) covers holes. People have to be protected from falling through holes more than 6 feet above a lower level by a personal fall-arrest system, a cover, or a guardrail. Covers are also required so people do not trip or step into holes, and so objects do not fall through onto the people below. A removed or cut floor tile is a hole. Put the cover on it. Do not use a loose tile as a lid you can kick aside.
Stringers, pedestals, and the path for a lift come from this project’s drawings. Do not cut a tile because the ladder is in the way.
Davina does not publish a cleanroom class or a particle limit. If the spec names gowns, tacky mats, or a door that stays closed, that spec is the rule for this room. Do not prop the door. Do not open a wall into that room to save a cable pull.
Dust from cutting concrete, masonry, or floor panels is a construction hazard until the room is turned over. Do the cut where the plan says to cut, and do not carry the dust into a room the spec is trying to keep clean.
Commissioning is the written test plan for this building. Watch the test you are asked to sign. Do not copy a number from another hall and do not invent a pass value.
A finished-looking floor does not mean the building is accepted. Until the contractor says the room is turned over, it is still a construction site. OSHA construction electrical rules in 1926 Subpart K still apply. If you are not qualified for the gear, you do not open it.

No. OSHA 1926.501(b)(4) requires covers so people do not step into holes and so objects do not fall through. Cover it before you walk away.
